About Me

Hello, my name is Shaniah Javonah Holloway. I'm from PG County Maryland and grew up feeling alienated from others. I grew up feeling like my life was always on front row display for the whole world to pick apart and judge. I often experienced people being around me and having very polarizing reactions. It was either i'm too much or too little and a lot of their comments were brand new to me and made me very sad. Due to not being socially accepted, I spent the majority of my time creating raps, making music, drawing, and even playing basketball and going outdoors. That is until I got my first touch screen phone and instantly fell in love with YouTube.

I fell in love with many vloggers and popular content creators online. When I was alone, it was creators on YouTube that made me feel comfortable in being so seen and unapologetically myself. I also took an interest in Vine and created edits of my favorite celebrities and I thought it was fun. I started to find comfort in a world that I can step into that was so vulnerable and digital.

Fast forward to 2026, and I can confidentially say isolation and harsh judgments only pushed me closer to being my number one supporter. I realized when you're a kid, you don't understand how impacted everyone is by societal norms and oppressive systems until you get older. Although I've faced many challenges, I had to get creative to come up with new ways to deal with public scrutiny, and the ONLY way I decided to go towards was a path where I feel happy to support and be myself.

I want my hard work and accomplishments to be a testimony to many girls and women out there that you can do it. Don't listen to the hate because it's just rules, it's just ignorance, and it's just pure misery, control, and bad advice to get you to stop achieving. If you want a more authentic, happy, and meaningful life, it starts with you. It also starts with you taking authentic, happy, and meaningful actions to make the world a better place to eliminate abusive and oppressive systems.

You don't have to be perfect or polished, you just have to stop being so scared and just show up as yourself.
